Family Update

Our family Update...

Lacey: lives with the love of her life and has two beautiful children. She's a stay at home momma who rocks homeschooling her preschooler. Lucas is almost 4 years old and loves being naked. He loves trucks and trains. Lana is 8 months old and is so wickedly fat. She loves to giggle and gives the best hugs.

Alexander: works full time as a shift lead at UDF. He helps with the family household and helped Chris and I get our family van. Alex likes to play video games like San Andres and Call of Duty and he also loves funny clips on YouTube.

Katelynn: works at KFC and with the help of her boyfriend they raise their son Christopher or Biggie as we call him. He's a doll baby he is. He has an imagination that blows me away. He loves music, dancing and hanging with Pawpaw.

Emma: is weeks away from getting her diploma and works with her grandpa on the side. She loves to take walks and enjoys being in nature. Emma is an old soul who shows compassion in everything she does. I can't wait TV to see what she brings to the table next year.

Chris & Jette: We work Grubhub and Doordash part time. Delivering food is actually fun. We love our city and love doing what we do.

2018 is gonna rock!

To Much To Say...

Sorry I've been away for so long. I haven't been able to get to a computer. A lot has gone on in my life in the last several months. I started babysitting Layton, one of my dearest friend son, then lost that when his mother went to part-time. I met new friends! Which is always a good thing. One family lives across the hall and the other lives around the corner. It's really great. We're all in the same building and all different ages. It's nice to see 3 or 4 generations of people getting along with no problems. It's like our own little family. We watch out for one another and make sure that everyone has what they need. We all have children ranging from 8 months to 24 yrs. Very large span I know, but it's interesting to watch and be a part of. The family across the hall is closer to Chris and I's ages. And we seem to have the most in common. We all play D&D (role playing game), like the same movies, play board games and cards together. They have a little girl named Jordan. She's about to be one in March. I call her my Ladybug because she is so little and cute. Jordan will scream if Emma doesn't pick her up right away when she comes home from school. They just love each other. Emma even told me that she thinks of Jordan as a little sister and likes to take care of her. She feeds her, plays with her and makes sure that she isn't getting into to much trouble. It's so cute to watch. Emma's going to make a wonderful mother some day. I can just see it! As for Alex...well he's doing great! He got a trophy for baseball, taking martial arts lessons and is getting all A's and B's!! Emma got mostly C's on her report card, but you do know what they say... 'When you get A's in Columbus, you gets C's in Worthington.' That's has always been the rule-even from when I was a little girl. I'm so glad that my children are doing so well now. It's nice to see their faces light up when they bring home an A on a test or project. I'm going to go now...my fingers are about to break off from all the typing. I'll try to do a better job with the update. My love to all!!

One Week Down

I survived the first week without my son. I don't know how I got through it, but I did. And what a week it was. It all started last Friday. I just got off work and couldn't get my car started. I fiddled with it for about 20 minutes or so, then had to step back. Getting to frustrated. I called Chris to let him know what was going on, just so he wouldn't worry. I then went back outside and fiddled some more. I went straight home without stopping at my usual spots. I just wanted to get home. As soon I walked into the house I thou off my sweater and slammed my purse, cursing and rambling about the car. Chris went out to see if he could do something about it. When he looked under the car he saw a corroded battery cable. He tried to clean it off and it broke. Yeti man strikes again. I was and am carless. This was all on Friday night. Right before Alex left for his fathers. What a day, huh?! On Saturday I went to my friend Beth's baby shower. Byran had to pick Emma and I up then swing by Debbie's and pick up Lacey and Katey. We went to Bryan's mothers house in Little Turtle. (Mommy and Nym, do you remember long summer days at the Little Turtle pool? Those are some of my fondest memories.) Well after the baby shower we went to Bryan's house for an after party. We met up with old friends from high school, played cards and had a blast on the Wii. Saturday night was fun and exiting. Sunday Alex called me from Poppy's house and I got to talk to him about his weekend and upcoming week. We cried and laughed. One of the best phone conversations I ever had. Then the fun really started. I had to find a ride to work. Don (Chris' dad) came to get me in the mornings and I had to find a ride home. This pretty much happened all week. On Tuesday my boss came to get me. I was about 3 hours late. Do you know how embarrassing it is to walk in with your boss? I felt every eye on me. Totally weird. Anyway, it was a ruff week. One good thing did happen. I made an enemy smile and laugh. I couldn't believe it myself. Maybe we can work together without all the animosity. That would be great!! I have looked for another car and have a little money saved up. Hopefully this next week goes by a little more smoothly.
