These colorful toads are very active and fun for beginner pet owners. They enjoy spending their day swimming and singing with other frogs of their species and become more active when not alone. Weird fact: Firebellied toads cannot extend their tongues like other toads or frogs. To feed, they must leap forward and catch their prey with their mouths. After they have grabbed a cricket or worm with their mouth, they usually use their fore-arms to help stuff food the rest of the way in. She's right, it's fun. See if your elfen name could be easier to pronounce than your sister's...my bet is that it will be...anyone's would...look at it, it's ridiculous...why don't they just use numbers to spell her name?...it looks like her first name is the feminine form of retard...like "retarde'" with a flashy ending...Mine names are beautiful by the way.

I am a GOLDEN MANTELLA FROG:
These frogs occur in several colour forms, each confined to very small locations within the eastern quadrant of Madagascar. They like their habitat with temperatures around 68 - 70*F and high humidity. This species is very showy in captivity preferring elevated positions out in the open. Males are generally smaller, slimmer and more angular in build than females and not as vocal as other species of mantellas. Females can produce eggs at a rate of once every two months given proper care.
